Birchwood Chalet Come visit the beautiful Lake George Region. The chalet can be found in a private family oriented neighborhood (with year round residents) in the small quaint town of Lake Luzerne, just 15 minutes from Lake George. Just minutes away from I-87. Countless activities including amusement parks, miniature golf, outlet shopping, boating, parasailing and enjoying the sites of Lake George. Spend a day in nearby Saratoga Springs and enjoy Saratoga's horseracing. Located in Lake Luzerne is white water rafting, tubing, water skiing and excellent local/quaint dinning. The chalet is 2,000 sq ft with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a finished basement for entertaining. Enjoy central air conditioning, summer barbeques on the wrap around deck or relax in the jacuzzi. Living and sleep arrangements comfortably accommodate 6-8 people. Master bedroom includes a queen bed, jacuzzi, and shower. Main level has two bedrooms - one full bed and two twin beds. There is a full size bath and pull out full size sofa. Main floor has open living area with cathedral ceilings, wood stove, and wonderful natural lighting. The fully equipped kitchen includes, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, etc. The finished basement has a pellet stove, large screen TV, washer, dryer and a 1/2 bath. Other amenities include cable TV, DVD/VCR player, VCR, wireless internet, hair dryer, video games (Game Cube) and plenty of board games. The deck wraps around the house and is equipped with a gas grill, and patio table. There is also a large cooler in the garage if you'd like to use it. This house is Baby Proofed!! - We have a high chair, booster seat, extra stroller and 2 baby gates for the stairways if needed. We have also provided a side bed rail for one of the twin beds, 2 baby monitors, and some children's toys. Baby tub, and exersaucer is also available if needed for those traveling with very small children. Main activities: This is a perfect location to enjoy the lake recreation of swimming, boating, fishing, and hiking as well as the area attractions. Summer - Enjoy the Lake! Or any of the dozens of activities the Adirondacks have to offer (See related links page). Lake George, outlet shopping and Great Escape all within 15 min and Saratoga horseracing 20 min. White water rafting right in Lake Luzerne! Rent a boat and use the boat launch around the corner from the chalet. Fall - Come for the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival (September) and beautiful fall foliage. Bring the family for Thanksgiving dinner. |
